Eight Chinese Characters to compose a baseline for Lindt in China
Swiss chocolate Lindt’s major typeface is Optima, designed by Hermann Zapf. Lindt needed to add this baseline in China: 瑞士莲－瑞士进口－源自1845年 which means "Lindt (litterally the Swiss Lotus) - imported from Switzerland - Since 1845". The chinese typefaces they used, too thick or not enough or in a different style, didn't match with the english words in Optima.
